Little Green Monsters!!! Happy St. Patrick's Day

We were all decked out in green this year! First we had cereal with green milk, then we had all green lunches for school: green egg salad sandwhiches, broccoli with green ranch, pickles, green rice crispy treats, green veggie straws, and all green gummy bears! For an afternoon snack it's pistachio pudding! Even thought Isabella & Sofia wear a uniform they got all blinged out with their green hair & sparkling 4 leaf clover face tatoos! Ava was also decked out for school! Then of course I couldn't resist getting my Little Charmer Luka decked out as well with his shirt & green mohawk! What a fun day!!!!

Valentine's Day!

Here are some cute pix of my sweet little Valentines! We had fun dressing up for church, going to school parties, making valentine cards & exchanging them, and eating lots of candy! We also celebrated Hartman's birthday (a little late...his b-day is in December). He was gone on a trip for his b-day and we never had a cake for him. I felt soo guilty this whole time that we finally surprised him with a cake on heart day! Lots of love!!!!

We had a wonderful time on New Years Eve. We had a dinner at my house with my sister and her family as well as Hartman's brother & family! My girls were so excited they came downstairs ready to Partaaay! Keep in mind this was 9 am and they thought the party was ready to start. Needless to say it was a long day of ..."When are they getting here? When's the party starting? They were so cute...also when did they get so big and fashionable????

We had our party hats on and we were ready to ring in the new year!

So was LaRon, Hayden, & Saylor. John had to protect our city and work the strip. I felt bad for all those fire fighters and police officers that night because it was sooo cold!

Our New Years Eve Baby!

Luka had a fun time finishing off everyone's food! He was partied out by 8pm!

But the other kids were just getting started!

Hartman had to go to bed little early because he had to work in the morning and Anthony had to also so they left early. So the rest of us put on our jammies and stayed up waiting for midnight! We played a fun game of Monopoly to pass the time!

Poor Ava fell asleep at 11:30. She just couldn't last any longer!

Then it was finally almost midnight so the kids had their punch glasses ready while they counted down!

They threw the confetti and got their coats on to go outside and do sparklers!

They were so loud in the streets. It's a good thing it was New Years Eve so the neighbors couldn't get mad!

Shortly after midnight one by one they started falling asleep on the couch while watching a movie! It had been a fun party for everyone!

Saylor was a trooper. She was the last one standing, she was still wound up and ready to go!

The next morning we slept in, had a yummy breakfast, and played play dough! Happy New Years!

Christmas Morning 2010

We had a fantastic Christmas morning. After spending two weeks in Idaho with family, we came home on the 23rd to be home for Christmas...& because Hartman had to work Christmas Eve. So it was so nice to be home for Christmas! We stayed in our pajamas all day & just enjoyed each other with out any interruptions from the outside world. It was awesome!!!! The kids were so excited and it was hard to keep them upstairs until we were ready for pictures. So this is them coming downstairs with so much anticipation for Santa!!!!

After looking at their stockings, they remembered to check to see if Santa and the reindeer ate their treats!

He also enjoyed climbing on the boxes more than opening them!

We are a little behind on the times and just got a Wii this year for our family gift. We figured we'd wait until the kids started asking for one...so this year they really wanted one. They were very happy to get this from mom & dad!

The girls had fun picking out gifts for us and each other. Those are the most treasured gifts of them all! They were so sweet and thoughtful and very excited to share their gifts with each other!

Seeing the joy in their faces makes Christmas so much fun for us as parents! We really had fun with them this year!

It's tradition to eat Breakfast Casserole after opening our gifts! I make it the night before and just pop it in the oven that morning. It's so yummy!

Snow Much Fun!

We spent some time up in Idaho at Grandma & Grandpa Stosich's house right before Christmas. It was so much fun being in the winter wonderland which added to the Christmas spirit! That's a novelty to us Vegas folks! Hartman will usually get out the 4 wheeler and pull all the kids and their cousins around and around the house and fields! We also dressed Luka up & to my surprised he loved it! He sat out in the snow for about an hour and just looked around, watched the kids play, & occasionally would eat some snow! I thought he looked so cute, we took so many pictures of them and especially Luka, but here are just a few!

Christmas Eve at the Fire Station

When your dads a fire fighter you have to get used to spending holidays at the station. This year it happened to fall on Christmas Eve! As a family we have come to love going down to the station and have made sure we try and keep up our family traditions. So every Christmas Eve we always open up one gift (usually from grandma and grandpa) and it's always pajamas! So I packed up the kids, stopped at McDonalds and headed down to spent time with Daddy!

They never get tired to watching all the excitement!

The kids took their dinner and ate it in the kitchen. They love going down there and eating all their yummy sweets! They think they run this place!

Winter in Idaho and More!

We headed up to Idaho last week to enjoy family, snow, & many Christmas festivities. We love the snow and the winter wonderland this time of year!

We went out to Aunt Jennifer's to make Gingerbread houses and the girls had so much fun!

I can't even begin to explain how busy this month has been for our family! Here are some of the highlights!

Luka's First Birthday Party. We celebrated with our family and extended family...LaRon, John and family & Anthony, Julie & family! We just love this little boy so much and can't believe he's one. I am so blessed to be his mother and we are blessed to have a little brother in our family! Happy Birthday Little Man!

He loved his fire truck bike he got from the Hartners. He could only scoot backwards! He also loved his new toy the fire station from Anthony & Julie and kids, as well as all his new toys and clothes from his family & grandparents! It's really fun to see boy things around our house!

He dug right in and couldn't quit licking his fingers! I think the consistency of the frosting felt funny to him! So cute!

On October 15th, Isabella turned 7 and what she wanted most in the world was to get her ears pierced. So we agreed and took her on her b-day. However, when we got there...her nerves go the best of her and she was really close to backing out!

I wished I would have gotton an after shot, but that look of fear turned instantly to a smile and she was so happy & excited. Here she is opening some presents from her grandparents and was very proud to show off her new earrings!

Later we had a "friends" party at the roller skating rink! She had a blast and it was so fun to see all the kids work so hard at skating. I saw them fall down so many times, but they were such troopers and just kept getting back up and kept going. They worked hard and had a blast!

Hartman made her cake once again!

Here was the first of many Halloween parties. This one was hosted by LaRon & our good friend Drea. They put on such a fun bash for all the kids!

The Sweetest Pink Cowgirl, Princess Mulan, Princess Tiana, & lil' Monkey in the world! I just love my little ones!

The month started off with a girls night at Town Square shopping, Dinner, & a movie to celebrate LeAnn & La Ron's birthdays! It's always a blast hanging out with our good friends!

Now I'm ready for November, cause I'm exhausted!!!!!

Once a year we look foward to La Ron & John's annual Halloween Party, and this year was no exception. As usual, Hartman likes to make our costumes and try to either be as unique or scary as we can. Well I think this year we went as the scariest thing I could think of...THE MONTHLY MONSTER! Don't know how I talked Hartman into this one, but he was a good sport and it paid off cause we won a costume contest for the 3rd year in a row! Ava's First Day of Pre~School

Ava's along waited for day of Pre~school was finally here. She was so excited to put on her back pack, some cute clothes, sport her new undies (since she just got potty trained this week) and curl her little piggies! There was no tears, just a "See ya Mom" Of course her preschool is with her Aunt LaRon and good friend Miss Wendy! She enjoyed the 3 little girls in her class and came home talking about the little boys too! She had a fun day and Hartman and I had fun with her excitement on her new adventure. It's sad to see them grow up, but it was a lot of fun to see how happy she was! Ava is really smart and ready for school. She can right her name and can recognize most letters of the alphabet. She can also navigate a mac computer pretty good! So needless to say she was ready and she loved it very much! It's also quite funny to take pictures of Ava....She has to have a "I'm a cool Girl pose along with a silly pose" She just does her thing and we end up getting really cute picture of our little Ava Girl! We love you!

I don't know what it is about this picture, but I love it! I ran across this picture taken about 6 months ago right after she had taken scissors to her bangs and cut them. They weren't too bad then cause we just evened them out and she had cute little bangs, but now they are growing out and are such a pain. Anyways, something about this photo of her just captures my sweet little Sofia and how little she is. I can already tell in just 6 months how much older she has gotten. Maybe I'm getting sentimental because she just started all day kinder, I don't know, but I could just squeeze her in this pix. Love her!

The Atlanta Zoo

We had a great visit at the Atlanta Zoo! Papa Larry went with me and the girls on probably the hottest most humid day ever!!!! You can see in these pictures how hot the girls are! We still had a great time and loved spending the day with each other!

One of their most favorite things to do was stick their heads through these. We had to stop and take pictures at every stand!

Papa Larry kept calling the girls "monkeys" They truly are like little monkeys~

Cabbage Patch Land General Hospital

While at home in Georgia we take our usual trip up to Cleavland Georiga home of Xavier Roberts and the Cabbage Patch Land General Hospital! It has got to be the cutest thing you've ever seen. First of all I turn into a little kid when I think of how much I loved Cabbage Patch Dolls and still do! The way they smell brings back so many memories for me. Anyways, my girls love going here, so my mom, the kids, and myself headed for Cleavland!

Fourth of July

This year was a little strange for us. We usually have a big BBQ and shoot off Fire Works in our neighborhood with family and friends. However, this year Hartman (our key component) was out after having back surgery yesterday! The kids love the fourth of July so much, so we tried to make the most of it without Daddy! We dressed up in our red, white, and blue, left Daddy asleep in the bed, and went down to the park with our family and good friends to watch the fireworks. We had a good time hanging out with everyone and soaking up the summer night... It still just wasn't the same without Daddy :( However we are very grateful for the FREEDOM that we have and the Blessed country that we live in. We love the USA!!!!

It was awesome to be able to spend Father's Day up in Idaho so we could also be with Hartman's Dad! We spoiled our mean with lots of home made cards and gifts, as well as guiltless naps, and lots of hugs and kisses! We love you both, as well as my Dad in Georgia! I especially missed him this day and my Grandpa in Virginia! So lucky to have such awesome Daddy's in our lives!

Temple Square Salt Lake City Utah

When Hartman was on his mission in Mexico he baptized a family and one of the little girls who was around 12 or 13 at the time is now on a mission at Temple Square in Salt Lake. She is getting ready to go home, so we wanted to take the opportunity to go and see her. The kids had never seen temple square before so we thought it was a great time to go and spend some time! It was a beautiful Summer Day in Salt Lake City! The kids loved the flowers and the beautiful grounds. They also loved meeting Sister Rios and her companion, they didn't realize that girls could be missionaries too, so this was a great experience for them. It was fun to have Sister Rios show us around. It was also really neat to see Hartman reunited with one of his converts and especially to see how well she is doing. It's so amazing to see how your hard work and sacrifice really pays off and truly effects generations. I am glad we have a great missionary in our family who is an awesome example to his children! We enjoyed the day and had lunch afterwards in Temple Square before heading off to Idaho!

Grandpa Marshall

On February 5th 2010 Grandmpa Marshall passed away! He was 89. He was Hartman's grandfather! We are so grateful for the time we had with him and the example he was to his whole family! Luka was his 100th great grand child and right before he passed away he was able to meet his 102nd great grand child! His wife grandma Marshall passed away almost exactly 3 years prior in February 2007! Grandpa went into the hospital with an infection in his leg and within a week he passed away! It was really quick and even though it was very tough to hear, we know he is with Grandma and very excited to be with so much family on the other side!

Hartman loved his grandfather very much!

One thing the girls always thought was so fun about Grandpa was that he would always get you with his cane! They would tease him and try to have him hook them with his cane and they loved it! Sometimes they would really get hurt, but they always came back for more!

We found out the news on a Saturday, so on Sunday morning Hartman's sister Jill drove up to Vegas from Arizona and we all rode up to Idaho together! I had flash backs of Grandma Marshall's funeral in February as well and remembered how cold it was! Hartman loves the cold and is always excited to see the snow! This is a view from the back of Hartman's mom and dad's house!

He is the happiest when he is home in the snow! He loves it! I love this picture of him cause I know how much he loves Idaho and can see it in his face!

Each child released their balloon while thinking of a wonderful memory of grandpa! I thought it was beautiful and my favorite part of the day!

Annual Disney On Ice

Every January Disney on Ice comes to Las Vegas and every year we go as a family! We look forward to it every year! This year it was Cars, Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Tinkerbell and the Fairies, and of course Minnie, Mikey, Donald, & Daisy! We were a few minutes late due to heavy rain, so we missed the Cars, but the girls didn't car too much about that! Aerial & Tinkerbell were the stars to them! We had a blast and can't wait until next year!

Isabella's First Play "A Tribute To Disney!

Isabella started an acting, singing, & dancing class back in September. This past January, she had her first performance. It was a "Tribute to Disney". She was able to do it with her cousin Saylor! We were so proud of Isabella! She started this class of extremely shy. She wouldn't even speak in class or look at the teacher. Then she ended up auditioning with a solo and singing a trio in the play! It was such progress! She had a blast and is now working on "Beauty and the Beast Jr." where she plays Chip! That will be this June! So here are some pictures of her First Play!

New Years Eve! Welcome 2010

I am so far behind that I'm catching up right now with my blogging, so here goes....

Hartman and John worked on New Years Eve, so we spent the evening at La Ron's with Saylor and Hayden. The kids showed off their new aprons that Grandma Stosich had made them for Christmas as well as their new jammies that Grandma Anne & Papa Larry gave them for Christmas too! They baked cookies, rocked out to Rock Band! I think LaRon and I had more fun with that than the kids did! At midnight we counted down and the kids toasted their glasses with sparkling apple cider! Afterwards we went out side and the kids had fun with sparklers! Baby Luka was put into Saylor's baby doll bed as a joke, but he loved it so much he stayed there and slept for hours. It was so cute! We had a wonderful time and look forward to another blessed year 2010

Christmas 2009 in Idaho

First the first time in 6 years we were able to go home to Idaho to be there for a White Christmas morning! A few nights before Christmas, Hartman's sister Jennifer throws a Christmas Party which Santa Clause always shows up to with gifts for the cousins. We left Las Vegas that morning without telling anyone we were coming! We knew Santa was arriving at the party by 8:30 pm, So were on a mission to make it there in time. It's a 9 hour drive without kids, so usually it takes us 11 hours to get there with kids! However, it was a Christmas miracle that we made record time and the kids were so good in the car.

We arrived at about 8:15, knocked on the door and everyone was sooo surprised to see us. It was really fun and there was even tears of joy that we could all be together for Christmas! Within minutes Santa arrived with gifts for each child.

Christmas Eve with Grandpa Marshall! This was the last visit that we saw him. He passed away this past February, so these pictures are very special to us!

Luka was Grandpa Marshall's 100th great grand child. I love this picture of 3 generations. If we had Hartman's mom in the picture it would have been 4 generations!

I also love this picture, except I still look pregnant! Okay he was only 8 weeks, so I still had an excuse! But seriously such a treasure to have this memory of Grandpa on Christmas Eve.

Hartman's SINGLE brother Vaughndavid! He is a really good catch, so if any of you know any cute girls out there...We actually stayed part of our trip at Vaughndavid's house! The girls loved it! He has a gorgeous house and we were able to have Christmas morning with him.

He set up a tree in the basement, and Grandma and Grandpa Stosich came over on Christmas morning to watch the girls open their gifts. The girls were worried that Sants wouldn't find them in Idaho! But they were so excited that he ate his cookies and left them a note! Then they hurried downstairs to open their gifts!

This was the girls "Big" gift for Christmas. It was their Barbie Jeep! They were so excited to finally get one. Since Vaughndavid's basement was empty, they had so much fun riding it all around. They weren't too used to driving it yet and kept running into his walls at full speed!

One fun thing that the girls did was go ice fishing with their dad, uncles, and cousin Dillon! It doesn't look fun to me at all, but they LOVE IT! They get that from their dad! They came home with lots of fish and had such a fun time!

A LiTtLe FaMiLy TrIP

We took this family trip a few days before Christmas and had such a blast! We had never been to Knott's Berry Farm and the kids loved Camp Snoopy! It was fun to get away with just our little family! We also had a fun time at Hunnington Beach!

The girls loved the hotel hot tub and they went crazy over the bunk beds in the hotel. They were thrilled to have their own room with their own TV!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house. Here are a few things we have been up to this month while enjoying the holiday season! My sweet little Baby Luka's First Christmas! So glad he's apart of our family.

It's a tradition to each get an ornament for the year that represents them! Hartman usually gets a fire fighter ornament each year in hopes to have enough to have a fire fighter tree one year!

Halloween Fun!

We have had so much fun this Halloween from school parties, trunk or treat, school carnivals, trick or treating, and Halloween parties. Needless to say we have a lot of photos to share. The biggest excitement was having Luka's First Halloween with us. He was only 12 days old on Halloween and made such a cute little bug! We also had Grandma Stosich, Grandma Anne, my sister Ashley and her two little boys Ashton & Baron from Georgia with us during this fun and busy time of the year! Happy Halloweeny!!!

First Soccer Season

Well we are experiencing our first season of Soccer. Isabella and Sofia are lucky enough to be on the same team. Their aunt and uncle John and LaRon are their coaches. They are the "Sharks" and so many of their good friends are on their team! They've had 2 games so far and it's been quite entertaining. After finishing T-Ball this summer, on their first soccer game, they were blown away at how fast and aggressive soccer is. They put Isabella in at goalie and we soon found out how good she was at that. Her second game she played more offense and with her long fast legs she scored her fist goal. She was so excited, and now her confidence is built and she is not so afraid anymore. Sofia still would rather be playing in the dirt or on the playground than running around kicking that soccer ball. Her and her friend Brooklyn are in their own little world out there. It's funny though, and we have to remember they are only 4! We have a good time going to their games every Saturday!

First Lost Tooth

It was an exciting day around here on October 25th. Isabella's first loose tooth that was hanging on my a thread for more than 3 weeks finally fell out! She was more than excited, and could hardly wait for the tooth fairy to come! Before she went to bed that night she asked us if the tooth fairy will leave like $100 so she could buy a video camcorder that she's been wanting. We both said...well not exactly. The tooth fairy doesn't leave that much, but whatever he does leave you can save that towards a camcorder. He left her 9 quarters, and She was happy with that! I can't believe she's already lost her first tooth. It's said for me, but also fun to see how excited she is!

Our Sweet Little Boy was born on October 19, 2009...one week ago today! We named him Luka Hartman and we are all so in love with him!

This was me leaving for the hospital getting ready to be induced. They started the induction at noon and it was the calmest, easiest labor I've had yet! The whole process was so smooth and Hartman is a great support for me. He was born at 6:54 pm and weighed 8 lbs 15 oz & 21 inches long! He is perfect and we are so blessed to have this sweet little boy in our family!

My sister LaRon was with us for his birth and took all the pictures. She's been there for all 4 of my children's deliveries.

We were so lucky to have Hartman's Mom at the hospital as well. She has also been the biggest help for us this past week while we recovered at home!

Happy Birthday Isabella

Isabella turned 6 on October 15th. She had a fabulous Hannah Montana Rockin Birthday Party with all her friends and family! It was so exclusive you had to have a VIP Backstage pass to enter. We had face painting, make-up, and a lot of dancing and singing. Hartman is the best and made the IPOD CAKE! It was a fun party and we can't believe our baby is getting so big. We love you Bella and you are the sweetest daughter we could ask for!

Sofia started a week after Isabella started school and boy was she ready! She is in her "real" first year of pre-school at "Little Learners" with Shauna and La Ron teaching! She loves it and is already learning so much! I am very impressed. I just love these pictures of her and can't believe she is really a big girl now! Today was Isabella's first day of kindergarten. I can' believe my oldest is starting school. She was so excited and loved it. Her teacher is very nice as well! Overall it was a great first day of school experience for her. She was even sporting a new haircut which she thought she was really cool! I am happy for her, and yet very sad to think how fast time flies.

The girls celebrating my birthday this week. They decorated the house with streamers and balloons and along with Hartman's help they baked me a cake! Ava had a little too much fun with a black marker while making me a card! It was a nice quiet birthday with my sweet family!

Since moving two weeks ago, we decided not to put the crib back up and just try out the toddler bed with Ava. She has done really well. This was her first night sleeping in a "big girls bed." She also went pee on the potty twice this week! My baby is growing up. However the "binkie" will be the ultimate task. I'm just not ready to tackle that one. She's so sweet~
