My Baby Can Ride a Bike With Two Wheels

Right after new years, Isabella mentioned one day when I get big I'll ride a bike with two wheels. All of a sudden it hit me that Isabella is 5 and I remember learning to ride a bike at 5. My brother Thomas taught me. I hadn't thought that maybe she's actually at the age to learn. You know I always keep my kids younger than they really are. They will always be my babies to me... So anyways, I told Hartman maybe we should teach her. It wasn't 10 minutes later Hartman had her training wheels off & out on the back patio teaching her. She was a little nervous & shaky, but I swear she learned in about 15 minutes. Once she got the hang of it, she wanted to go to the front on the street and show off her skills. She rode like she's ridden all of her life. I wanted to cry for some reason and felt like it was a fun milestone in her life. She immediately had to run next door & show her cousins. The funny thing was, Saylor (her older cousin by a year) hadn't had a desire to learn to ride without training wheels until she saw Bella. Then her mom & dad were out there teaching her & about 10 minutes later Saylor was riding too! Saylor & Isabella thought they were sooo cool! For about 1 week Isabella kept saying to me "are you so proud of me that I can ride a bike with two wheels?" We had to call all of our family so she could tell everyone! It was a fun day!

The training wheels are coming off! The fun begins! Bella is so excited!!!Look at that big smile Here we go!
Isabella and her Daddy! Look at my big girl! It's all over now!!!! I had to put this picture of Sofia posing for Aunt Nanette as usual! She got her scooter for Christmas along with her bike safety get-up! These two girls rule Chase Hallow St. for sure now!!! Isabella and her new "bike" partner in crime"

Man, she just kept going and going on that video. What a sweet dad running after her around in circles. She did a GREAT job. Seriously! She looks so tiny. How neat that you live next door to cousins.

How awesome!!! I remember when she got that bike for her bday! They certainly grow up fast! Madison won't even get on her bike and insists that she rides her trike instead...
